The Fringe party begins in Gawler

When the Fringe came to Gawler this weekend our roving reporters hit the beat to meet the artists and find out more about this great event, and now we've put all those videos in one place. Check out our video gallery of interviews and performances at the 2017 Gawler Fringe Opening!

The Gawler Fringe opened officially on Friday evening with Welcome to Country and the official launch by Mayor Karen Redman., and we caught up with the Mayor so that she could interview us!

We talked to local artist Liam Halford, who performed at this year's Gawler Fringe.

One of the joys of The Gawler Fringe is seeing new ,young bands emerge. One such, tentatively called Bunnings Snags, produced a sizzling performance on Sunday morning, and Marilyn spoke with the boys after their performance.

Jack Buckskin and his young son Vincent kept the crowd enthralled as Jack played the didgeridoo, while Vincent performed some dances, including his favourite, The Kangaroo Dance.

We interviewed Kelly Brouhaha, who performed at the Fringe on Saturday night.

We talked to Crafty, organiser and musician at the Gawler Fringe 2017.
We talked to the Swap Team, who are performing at this year's Gawler Fringe.
